Jennifer Kohl

DC

Jennifer is originally from St. Louis, MO.  Driven by a lifelong passion for athletics, she competed as a Division 1 NCAA softball player at the University of Northern Iowa while earning her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a pre-medical emphasis and a minor in mental health. During her undergraduate years, Jennifer volunteered at a local hospital, observed orthopedic surgeries and completed a personal training internship, experiences that gained early exposure to multidisciplinary healthcare and movement-focused care.

After completing her undergraduate studies, she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic with cum laude honors at Logan University.  During her time at Logan, she served as an academic peer tutor for three years and participated in the integrated healthcare center rotation, working alongside a variety of medical professionals before completing her final two rotations as an intern at HSS.

Jennifer has been a licensed chiropractor since 2023, with an emphasis on movement and evidence-based care. Her clinical approach integrates rehabilitative exercise, targeted injury-prevention programming, and dynamic neuromuscular stabilization (DNS). She is trained in spinal manipulation using both Diversified and Activator techniques, and utilizes adjunct soft-tissue therapies such as myofascial release, cupping, scraping, and KT taping. Jen is currently pursuing advanced sports chiropractic training through the CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner) program.
