Wesley Rickman

Dr. Wes Rickman is originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He moved to Tallahassee, Florida to study at Florida State University and compete for the Seminoles as a NCAA athlete in cross country and track & field. In 2013, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Dr. Rickman then attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Canada where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

While at CMCC, Dr. Rickman participated in the Rehab 2 Performance club on campus to “bridge the gap” between different health professionals (medical, sports performance), in addition to working as a personal strength coach in a gym clinic setting. After graduating, Dr. Rickman worked in New Jersey, where he primarily managed motor vehicle accident patients with severe whiplash-type injuries.

Dr. Rickman has extensively sought out formal training in treatment techniques that focus on preventing and rehabilitating injuries incurred from sports and active lifestyles; particularly for runners and other endurance athletes. His clinical practice focuses on movement assessment/rehab, sports injuries, and myofascial pain.

Having dealt with numerous injuries of his own as a collegiate athlete, Dr. Rickman understands the chronic conditions that can plague

athletic performance. He offers a treatment plan that succinctly blends functional assessment, chiropractic manipulations and myofascial release techniques to address the entire musculoskeletal system. Dr. Rickman is a strong advocate of preventative care and places an emphasis on educating patients on how to manage their own conditions and reduce future injuries.

Dr. Rickman is a licensed Chiropractor in the state of Colorado and New Jersey. He is certified in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS®), having completed training in Prague and Toronto. He is also a certified Sports First Responder and Active Release Technique provider. Dr. Rickman is a member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association, and the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
